So me and my beautiful girlfriend were looking into housing options for the future when we ran across L2P.com . The design immediately struck me as familiar, and I was right, I have seen it before, on Blogger .
Check out these screen shots and tell me if you find anything similar.

Down to the color, and shape of the content borders, its all there, clear as day. I guess design theft is a bigger part of the industry than I had once thought. Honestly if you’re planning on ripping someones design off, couldn’t you find a somewhat less popular site than Blogger . And wouldn’t you at least change the colors?
I guess this brings up an interesting point though: How would Joe Public react to something like this? I’d favor to guess that the average web surfer might not care at all. It seems rational to think that noticing such an apparent and blatant similarity should, in some way, discredit the site’s legitimacy, but I have this nagging suspicion most users would care. What do you guys think? Are there any non-designers who can vouch for the public and let us know if something like this is even pertinent to them?
Anyway, I swear I’m not trying to turn this blog into a stolen designs outlet, I usually just call ‘em as I see ‘em. Lately it just seems to be getting worse and worse.
