Here’s a quick sneak peek at a new theme I’m developing for Textpattern . I realize that it my last post I vowed to begin to learn wordpress, and honestly, I was hoping that my next design project would involve that CMS. I figured it would make a good learning experience. But it seems that developing full fledged themes in Wordpress , from scratch, takes a lot more time than in TXP. As a matter of fact, I might have it available in the next few days.

Here’s the preview pic:

It’s called Naked Bonsai. It will be much more simplistic and minimalist than this site’s layout, although it will still highlight the latest post in it’s own little section, since a lot of people seem to like that aspect of my site.

At this point I can’t decide what to do with it, although I’ll probably give it away for free at Textgarden . There just doesn’t seem to be a lot of demand out there for TXP themes like there is for Wordpress. I dunno, maybe I’m wrong.
